The solid organic friction disc delivers a step up in clamping force and torque capacity over stock, while retaining the progressive engagement character that makes the car easy to drive in traffic.

XClutch uses a high-performance pressure plate with a revised pivot point and diaphragm design to deliver increased clamping force while preserving the positive pedal feel the OEM unit is tuned for. The solid organic friction material is durable, performs well across a wide temperature range, and does not require a warm-up period before full use — important for a kit intended for street driving. Some Stage 1 applications include a dual-mass flywheel replacement where the factory dual-mass unit is retained in street applications to minimize NVH.
