This is XClutch’s recommendation for performance street applications where high heat and torque capacity are required but a fully aggressive race clutch engagement would be impractical.

How the Cushioned Ceramic Disc Works
The cushioned ceramic design places the ceramic friction material on a disc with a spring-cushioned hub and additional compliance between the friction faces. This reduces the engagement sharpness of a solid ceramic disc, giving a more progressive feel through the engagement zone while retaining the heat and torque benefits of ceramic material. It is particularly well suited to vehicles that see demanding street driving rather than dedicated circuit use.
