Twin Disc Capacity, Organic Engagement
The XClutch Twin Solid Organic clutch kit uses two solid organic friction discs for high torque capacity combined with the durability and heat resistance that solid disc construction provides over sprung designs at extreme power levels. Solid discs reduce rotational inertia compared to sprung hub designs, which improves throttle response and reduces the rotational mass the engine has to accelerate through the powertrain.

Solid Organic Twin Disc Explained
The solid hub design eliminates the torsional damper springs, which stiffens the driveline connection and reduces disc inertia at the cost of slightly more engagement abruptness compared to the sprung organic twin. The organic friction material on solid discs still provides a more progressive engagement than ceramic, making this a reasonable compromise for high-power builds that want twin disc capacity with more manageable engagement than a twin ceramic.

The Twin Solid Organic sits between the sprung twin and the twin ceramic in both engagement character and torque capacity. It makes sense for high-power builds where the sprung twin is marginal and a twin ceramic would be too aggressive for the intended use. The solid organic engagement is more abrupt than the sprung version but considerably more forgiving than any ceramic twin.
