What Ceramic Friction Material Adds
Ceramic friction material provides a higher coefficient of friction than organic, which means higher torque capacity at the same clamping force, and better heat resistance under sustained load. The engagement character of a ceramic disc is noticeably firmer than organic — the engagement zone is shorter and more abrupt, which suits performance driving but takes getting used to on the street.
