Why 24mm for the GD STI
The 2005-2006 GD STI already runs a stiffer factory front bar than the WRX. The 24mm step up is appropriate for track days, autocross, and performance street driving where the factory calibration is limiting but maximum stiffness would oversteer excessively. The three positions allow fine-tuning to match the rear bar setup and conditions.

System Calibration
Pair the BSF36XZ with the BSR37XZ (24mm) or BSR37Z (22mm) rear bar to maintain balanced front-to-rear roll stiffness. Running 24mm front with a much softer rear produces understeer. Matched diameters produce a neutral character.
