This is the Red Line Heavy ShockProof Gear Oil. The ShockProof can be used by itself or as a cocktail with other Red Line transmission fluids depending on what application you choose to use it on.

DETAILS:

• Features a unique lubricant containing a suspension of solid microscopic particles as an extreme pressure agent along with a unique solid dispersion that cushions gear teeth to help prevent tooth breakage which allows the use of lower viscosities
• Many performance racing applications like Sprint, Midget, Dirt lane Model, and Quick Change Differentials, Detroit Lockers and Spools, NHRA Top Fuel, and Funny Car rear ends
• Acts like a liquid grease as the viscosity characteristics allow the lubricants to resist throw-off and provide the protection of greater film thickness with a relatively light fluid viscosity which offers the “best of both worlds” balance of low drag and superior protection
• Works in a variety of differential and transmissions
• Recommended for heavily-loaded racing differentials and transmissions, and Off-road racing and problem gearboxes
• Provides a film thickness similar to a 75W250 grade while providing the same low fluid friction as an SAE 75W90 oil
• Fully-synthetic formula created from polyol ester base stocks, offers excellent lubrication under extreme conditions
• Ester base stocks and friction modifiers (except NS) provide additional slipperiness to lower operating temperatures by reducing the sliding friction in hypoid gears
• High viscosity index (VI) to provide a latively constant viscosity and film thickness with varying temperature change
• Superior shear stability and reduced oxidation compared to other synthetics and conventional gear oils
