This is the PERRIN Performance Turbo Sump Restrictor. This component is ideal for those of you who are experiencing a burning oil problem or blue smoke coming out of the exhaust after installing an aftermarket J-Pipe or turbo-back exhaust system. What happens is th will cause a change in the exhaust pressure which will allow the engine oil to escape out of the turbo seals and right into the exhaust system.

The PERRIN Performance Turbo Sump Restrictor unit will make the turbo sump pump more effective at sucking oil out of the turbo sump. This will create a slight vacuum on the turbo sump which will create a proper balance of exhaust pressure and vacuum on the turbo seals. The result is a significant reduction in the amount of leaking around the turbo seals.
