The Mishimoto Front Mount Intercooler Kit is the perfect upgrade for those of you who have maximized the efficiency of your factory intercooler. The Mishimoto unit is just an all around better component engineered to make improvements in every area of the factory intercooler. This includes a temperature drop by as much as 26° F in air intake temperatures along with a whopping 51% increase in core size. Because of the increase in core size there will be a 25% increase in internal core volume and a 226% increase in external fin surface area coverage.
This intercooler core has also been designed to fit in the stock location which will prevent airflow blockage to both the radiator and the AC condenser for factory cooling characteristics. Additionally you can use your stock intercooler pipes, however, most aftermarket piping kits will work with this intercooler since it has been designed to mount in the stock location.
This core features aluminum TIG-welded construction, and it will come in a black finish for those of you who want the desired stealth look.
