Why Coolant-Heated AOS Installations
In cold climates, an unheated AOS canister can accumulate moisture from condensation when the engine is cold and PCV gases pass through the canister. This moisture mixes with the oil and can cause sludge and other issues. Routing engine coolant through or around the AOS canister maintains its temperature and prevents condensation.
