Maximum-Rigidity Transmission Mount for Race Applications
The IAG Race Series Transmission Mount for the 5-speed WRX is a solid mount designed for dedicated race vehicles where zero transmission movement is required. All drivetrain vibration transmits directly to the chassis at this specification, making it inappropriate for street use. For dedicated competition vehicles, the solid mount provides the most rigid drivetrain foundation available from IAG’s mount lineup.

Solid Mount Application
A solid transmission mount is appropriate for race cars, time attack vehicles, and dedicated competition builds where NVH is managed through other means (stripped interior, roll cage, etc.). It is not appropriate for street-driven vehicles.

Choosing the Right Mount
IAG offers this mount in 55A Comfort, 75A Street, 90A Competition, and solid Race specifications. The Race solid mount is the final step — maximum rigidity at the expense of all compliance. For most builds, the 90A Competition spec provides excellent control with a more acceptable NVH level for dual-purpose cars.

Flush-Mount Hardware
IAG’s flush-mount hardware design means the mount can be installed without taking it apart. The four included Allen socket head screws provide all the mounting hardware needed, and the flush design keeps a clean appearance in the engine bay.
