Flex Fuel Sensor Compatibility
The IAG Flex Fuel kits include routing and provisions for the COBB Tuning Flex Fuel Sensor, which measures fuel ethanol content and communicates it to the COBB Accessport for real-time flex fuel tuning. The sensor is sold separately but the kit is engineered with the sensor location and connection in mind.
PTFE Fuel Lines
IAG’s PTFE fuel lines use Fragola 6000 series PTFE hose with stainless steel reinforcement and a black nylon outer covering to prevent scratching. The lines are pre-assembled to application-specific lengths for a direct installation — no cutting or fitting assembly required. Working pressure is 2000 psi (burst 8000 psi). PTFE does not allow permeation of fuel vapors, which eliminates the fuel smell that other hose types can exhibit. The hose is compatible with all automotive fuel types including E85.
Injector Sizing for Flex Fuel
Flex fuel builds typically require larger injectors than equivalent gasoline builds because E85 requires approximately 30% more fuel volume for the same power output. The 1050cc injectors in this kit are sized for flex fuel operation — consult your tuner for the correct injector size for your specific power target and blend ratio.
