The IAG MAF Sensor Block-Off Plate is a machined aluminum plate designed to block off the MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor location in the intake piping when switching to a speed density tuning setup. Speed density tuning uses a MAP sensor and intake air temperature sensor instead of the MAF for load calculation — which requires blocking off the factory MAF port. Available in silver anodized finish.

Speed Density Tuning and the MAF Block-Off
Speed density tuning calculates engine load using manifold pressure (MAP) and air temperature rather than measuring actual airflow through the MAF sensor. Some high-performance builds switch to speed density because MAF sensors can be limiting — particularly in setups with large-diameter intake piping or significant modifications to intake airflow paths. Removing the MAF sensor requires blocking off its port to prevent an intake air leak.
