Competition Baffle vs Street Baffle
The Competition Lower Baffle is specifically engineered for track conditions and sustained high-RPM use. It uses Viton one-way flapper valves to hold oil in areas closer to the pickup during aggressive driving, and the design accounts for the more extreme lateral and longitudinal G-forces present in track and race environments. If your car sees regular circuit or race use, the Competition Package is the appropriate choice.
IAG V2 Oil Pickup — Why It Matters
The OEM EJ25 oil pickup is a known failure point due to thin-gauge tubing that cracks over time and mileage. Loss of oil pressure from a failed pickup destroys engines. IAG’s V2 Pickup solves this with heavy-gauge steel tubing, a 3/8″ stainless steel flange, and TIG welds throughout — a significant structural improvement over the factory part.
