Manual boost controllers bleed off boost signal before it reaches the wastegate actuator, causing the actuator to hold the wastegate closed longer and build more boost. The GrimmSpeed unit uses a needle valve for precise, repeatable adjustment that holds its setting without drift.

Install inline in the boost signal line between the compressor housing tap and the wastegate actuator. Adjust until the desired boost level is reached, lock the adjuster. No electronics, no datalog required.
