The GrimmSpeed TMIC Turbo Outlet Hose for the 2008-2014 WRX and 2005-2009 Legacy GT is a silicone replacement for the factory hose connecting the turbocharger outlet to the TMIC inlet. This hose sits near the turbocharger where temperatures are highest, OEM rubber degrades here faster than anywhere else in the charge circuit.

The hose between the turbocharger outlet and TMIC inlet receives boost pressure on every combustion event at extreme temperatures. OEM rubber at this location hardens and cracks faster than other charge hoses. A cracked hose here creates a boost leak before the intercooler, difficult to diagnose because it only appears under pressure.
