The GrimmSpeed TMIC Y-Pipe Kit in red replaces the factory Y-pipe connecting the twin turbocharger outlets to the TMIC inlet on EJ-series Subaru applications. The OEM Y-pipe has a smaller internal diameter and less optimized merge geometry than the GrimmSpeed unit.

The Y-pipe connects both turbocharger outlets to the TMIC inlet, it is a restriction point in the pre-intercooler flow path. The factory unit’s smaller diameter and merge geometry limit the airflow that reaches the intercooler at higher boost levels.

The GrimmSpeed red Y-pipe uses a larger internal diameter and improved merge geometry for better flow. Direct bolt-on at the factory connection points.
