This particular component is the Company 23 Torque Plate. The intended purpose of this tool is to simulate the bore distortion of a torqued cylinder head during the honing, boring, and ring gapping process. This plate has been CNC machined from tempered and anodized aerospace-grade aluminum materials. The top bore edge radius makes it comfortable for ring gapping, and it has proven to reduce blowby, oil consumption, all while increasing reliability. This is a great product for high-performance engine builds and you can use it on aftermarket or OEM head bolts.
