Cobb develops N54 OTS maps separately for each application — the 335i, 135i, 535i, and 1M each have different factory calibration starting points and receive independently developed maps — particularly the 1M, which has a more aggressive factory state of tune that receives specific calibration attention. The drop-in filter improves airflow in the factory N54 airbox with no intake plumbing changes, complementing the Accessport calibration.
