Stage 1+ with the SF intake takes the late-GD WRX and STI beyond what a drop-in filter alone achieves — the cone filter and aluminum tube provide greater airflow improvement than a panel filter swap, and the Accessport OTS map is calibrated specifically for the SF intake’s airflow characteristics rather than being a stock-intake map with a filter change noted. The EJ255 and EJ207 respond to the combination with improved throttle response and more consistent boost delivery through the mid-range.

Calibration for SF Configuration and the Path Forward

The SF intake retains the MAF sensor in its factory location within the intake tube, maintaining accurate air mass measurement for correct fueling across all operating conditions.
