The shift stop limits over-travel past the end of each gate, providing a positive mechanical stop that tightens the feel of each gear selection.

The Stage 1 package without a knob gives WRX owners the complete mechanical improvement — shorter throw, tighter bushings, positive stop — without requiring a specific knob color choice at the time of purchase.
