Delrin does not absorb hand oils the way natural materials do and does not become slippery with heat. The two-tone construction uses a white or black primary body with a contrasting collar at the base, providing a clean visual distinction that complements a range of interior color schemes.

The Cobb Delrin knob is a direct-thread replacement — it screws onto the factory shifter shaft or Cobb short throw shifter shaft at the correct thread pitch for the application. At the correct torque, the knob seats firmly and does not rattle or loosen under normal driving conditions.
