The panel also fits without the roll bar installed for owners who want the weight reduction of a rear seat delete without the bar at this time.

Standalone Seat Delete Option and Weight Reduction

The cut-outs for the roll bar tubing are pre-positioned at the correct locations for the CMS bar’s geometry — attempting a generic seat delete panel alongside the CMS bar would require custom modification. Removing the rear seat and installing the delete panel reduces weight at a location that benefits vehicle dynamics — rear mass reduction improves the car’s responsiveness to steering inputs and reduces the rotational inertia that affects cornering transitions.
