The factory charge pipe has many strategically-placed dents in the pipe to gain clearance with other engine components. The problem is that this can certainly hinder the flow and the performance. AMS has a great solution with their 3-InchCharge Pipe which is a direct replacement for your flimsy plastic OEM pipe. The AMS unit features lightweight aluminum construction that is mandrel-bent and will not expand under boost. This will provide a better response in performance, and it also has built-in ports for those of you who want to add nitrous or methanol injection.
