The ACT StreetLite flywheel is machined to reduce rotational mass compared to the heavy OEM unit on EJ-series Subarus. The OEM WRX flywheel is notably heavy, the StreetLite replacement provides a perceptible improvement in throttle response and the feel of the engine through the rev range. On the EJ-series WRX, the flywheel upgrade is often described as transformative.
