The Xtreme pressure plate uses ACT’s proprietary diaphragm geometry, the spring fingers are engineered to produce more clamp load than the factory unit at the same pedal effort, rather than simply requiring more force to push. The four-stage heat treatment process gives the diaphragm the fatigue resistance it needs to maintain consistent clamp load through repeated heat cycles. The cover stamping is precision-formed for rigidity, flex in the pressure plate cover is a common failure point in cheaper alternatives and ACT eliminates it.

The Performance Street sprung disc is the disc that most modified street cars should be running.
