Reverse intake manifolds are used with rotated turbo kit builds, and the stock alternator position conflicts with the new manifold orientation.

When This Kit Is Needed
Rotated turbo kits use a reversed intake manifold to route the turbocharger plumbing in a different configuration than the factory setup. This reversed manifold typically occupies the space where the stock alternator is mounted, requiring the alternator to be relocated. IAG’s kit provides the correct brackets and hardware for the relocation.
